Where is Chambers Reserve?

Chambers Reserve is a new residential estate in Logan Reserve, postcode 4133, in the City of Logan in South East Queensland. Logan Reserve sits between Park Ridge and Marsden on the Chambers Flat Road and Mount Lindesay Highway corridor, roughly 30 km by road south of Brisbane CBD, and it is one of Logan's most active new-housing pockets.

Logan Reserve was semi-rural acreage for most of its history and is now being released as standard detached suburban allotments, estate by estate. Chambers Reserve is part of that shift: new streets, new parkland and new footpaths going in around housing that is being completed release by release rather than all at once.

Land sizes vary between releases and between individual lots, so we publish the exact land area and internal floor plan on each home's own listing rather than quoting an estate-wide average. Typical stock in this pocket is single-storey and double-storey detached houses on registered, titled land, built for families and for long-term rental rather than for subdivision.

What homes are available in Chambers Reserve?

Pearson Bros Homes lists houses in and around Chambers Reserve only once they are finished. Availability changes as homes move through frame, enclosed, fixing and practical completion, so the live list of completed and newly completed homes, each with its land area, floor plan, inclusions and rental appraisal, sits on the properties page.

Every home is built by FRD Homes, a related builder under common family ownership, and passes the same stages before it reaches the market:

The result is a house you can walk through before you commit. You see the finished kitchen, the real ceiling height, the actual fence line and the completed driveway, not a display home and not a rendering. Homes are built to the NCC 7-Star energy standard, carry a seven-year structural warranty under the QBCC Home Warranty Scheme and include a 12-month post-handover maintenance period. FRD Homes holds QBCC licence 15046435.

Recently finished stock in the Logan Reserve area sells quickly, so if nothing in Chambers Reserve is showing as available today, the completed homes page lists what is finished elsewhere in the Logan corridor and what is next to reach practical completion.

How does Chambers Reserve compare to house and land packages?

A house and land package in this corridor normally means two contracts, a separate land settlement, progress payments and a wait before you can move in or lease. Buying a completed Pearson Bros home is one contract of sale at a fixed price on a finished house, settling on a normal property timeline of about 30 to 60 days.

Both routes get you a brand-new home with the tax and warranty advantages that come with new construction. The difference is when you take the risk and when the home starts working for you. With a completed house, the build is already done and paid for, the price cannot move on you, and the rental appraisal is in front of you before you sign. You are buying a finished property, so the transaction behaves like any other settlement.

First-home buyers of new homes pay nil Queensland transfer (stamp) duty with no value cap on contracts dated from 1 May 2025, and may access the First Home Guarantee (5 percent deposit, no LMI) up to a $1,000,000 Greater Brisbane price cap, with income tests removed from 1 October 2025. For SMSF buyers, a completed home is a cash-purchase option with a single contract of sale and no build risk inside the fund. Note that new SMSF residential borrowing (LRBAs) is legislated to end: the ban received royal assent on 26 June 2026 and commences on 10 August 2026, with existing arrangements and any contract exchanged before that date grandfathered, and commercial property excluded. Getting to Brisbane and the Gold Coast

Chambers Reserve is about 30 km by road from Brisbane CBD, generally 35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic, and about 55 to 60 km from the northern Gold Coast beaches via the Logan Motorway and the M1 Pacific Motorway. Rail into the city runs on the Beenleigh line from Loganlea and Kingston stations.

That position is the practical reason this pocket keeps growing. Chambers Flat Road and the Mount Lindesay Highway feed north into the Logan Motorway, which links west to the Ipswich Motorway and the Springfield corridor and east to the M1. Households here can work in Brisbane, in the Logan industrial and health precincts, or on the northern Gold Coast without changing address.

The employment base close by is substantial in its own right. Logan recorded 132,383 local jobs in the year to June 2024, in health, logistics, retail and manufacturing, with Logan Hospital and the Loganlea and Crestmead industrial areas all within a short drive.

Logan Reserve also sits inside the broader Logan growth story. Brisbane dwelling values rose 17.4 percent over the year to June 2026, with a median dwelling value of $1,118,306 and a median house value of $1,225,350 (Cotality Home Value Index, June 2026), while Brisbane rental vacancy was 0.9 percent in May 2026 against 1.2 percent nationally (SQM Research). Growth is easing from its peak, but demand for new detached housing in this corridor has stayed firm.
