Properties
Pearson Bros Homes builds new detached houses in the South-East Queensland growth corridors of Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and the Scenic Rim, then sells them finished. You buy one completed house under a single fixed-price contract of sale. You inspect the actual house, then settle on a normal property timeline. No build contract, no progress payments.
Pearson Bros Homes builds the house first and sells it once it is complete. That changes the transaction: you are buying a finished property, not commissioning a build, so the process runs like any established-home purchase.
The longer version is on how to buy a finished home, and the trade-offs against buying off the plan are set out in completed versus off the plan.
Every home is delivered turnkey: flooring, window furnishings, lighting, landscaping, driveway, fencing, clothesline and letterbox are all done before handover. Homes are built to the NCC 7-Star energy standard and carry a 7-year structural warranty plus a 12-month maintenance period. The full list is on turnkey inclusions, and the energy standard is explained on 7-star energy homes.
Four South-East Queensland growth corridors, chosen so exposure is spread across different price points, rental profiles and infrastructure timelines rather than concentrated in one suburb.
Current market conditions across these corridors are tracked on our build areas pages.
You buy the completed house on a single contract of sale, the same way you would buy any established property. There is no separate land contract, no building contract and no progress payments, because the house already exists when you sign. Settlement runs on a normal 30 to 60 day timeline.
No. The construction is finished and paid for before the home is offered for sale, so the build risk sits with us rather than with the buyer. You are buying a house you can walk through and have inspected, not a plan or a display suite.
Flooring, window furnishings, lighting, landscaping, driveway, fencing, clothesline and letterbox are all completed before handover. The home is finished to a standard where you can move in or lease it immediately, with nothing left to arrange.
Every home carries a 7-year structural warranty under the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme and a 12-month maintenance period from handover, during which we return to address any defects that appear.
All homes are built to the NCC 7-Star energy standard, which has been mandatory for new Queensland homes since 1 May 2024 and covers both the building fabric and a whole-of-home energy budget.
